Supporting equal rights means supporting gays/lesbian,black,white,hispanic,deaf,blind,disabled,smart,pretty,"ugly"
In other words its supporting those who are different than you.. guarantee there isnt a person who truly is.
I wish for everyone to gain their humanity back! HAVE A HEART - STOP THE HATE. It is Easy to Hate, and it takes Courage to Love. Remember that what you do or say can and will effect the people around you. Remember that we are all human. We cry, die, hurt. We get angry, sad, and happy. We love, fall, and get back up. We all have troubles and trails in our lives. A simple smile or hello, could change someone's life. Put yourself in their shoes before you start the judging process.

Special Needs
Amazing people that have the ability to see the world in a unique and positive way.
I love my cousin Lori, she is such a beautiful girl and is amazing to be around. There is no way that I can be sad around her. She loves life and lives it to the fullest. I'm glad that I had the chance to meet her and spend time with her every Thursday at Special Needs Mutual. She loved when she first met me and she loves me more ever time we spend time together and get to know one another. Lori has touched my heart a lot and there is no way I would be able to forget her.
I'm glad to have the opportunity to be around those amazing Special Needs because they don't see the world in the way we do. They don't have to hate someone to be happy. They are happy because they are alive and well. They don't judge. They are your friend if you are willing to be theirs. They are you friend automatically and make you feel welcome if you just take the time to sit down and talk with them.
Yes, they are different, but we are all different also. All in all, they are just like us. People living their life and learning about themselves and others.
Tevan Harding - I love them too. My uncle is Special Needs, (but we call it Special Abilities cuz it sounds cooler) and I absolutely love him to death. He's so awesome. I still haven't learned to NOT look at him, especially when one of my favorite hymns are being sung during sacrament or any of the conferences, he cries tears of joy and, of course, I cry tears of joy. I love him so much.
I knew his uncle and it is true. He is an amazing man. Kirk was one that loved music. I remember going to primary and having him come in when we started to sing. He sang with us. I loved watching him pass the sacrament, with the other boys helping him start in the right place. He is such an amazing person, I wish I had more time to sit down and just get to know him. I miss Kirk.
Jacob Bastian - One of the door greeters at my store is a paraplegic, and he's so up beat and positive it's impossible to be down around him. I enjoy when he works by our door because I know my day just got better.
Through all the ways that we meet the amazing people with special needs, whether it's family, friends, co-workers, or anything else. I feel like everyone needs to remember that they are just like you and me, they just have something different to them. They just live life a little bit differently.
Special Needs: Amazing people that have the ability to see the world in a unique and positive way.
